The First Annual NMCB 74 Desert Storm Reunion was held on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi April 20th -22nd, 2018 after almost 28 years since the end of the Gulf War. More than 40 members showed up from all over the country with their spouses and kids. Rick Chaffee held a welcoming gathering Friday night at his house and Rick Palmer hosted a crawfish boil at his home in Saucier on Saturday. Those that were still left used it as a free day to run around on Sunday. We hope to make this an annual event and have already tentatively scheduled June 14th-16th, 2019. These dates may change to April or May. Some of us can’t handle the heat anymore.
We also changed the name of the facebook group to NMCB 74 Desert Storm Veterans which now has almost 300 members. We will host details about the 2019 reunion and pictures here on this website and on Facebook. Please continue to use the facebook group for everyday conversations, announcements and sharing personal photos.

Tribute WallU.S. Navy Seabee Prayer
Lord, stand beside the men who build and give them courage, strength, and skill. O grant them the peace of heart and mind, and comfort loved ones left behind. Lord, hear our prayer for all Seabees, wherever they be on land or sea.
